The Montblanc Rouge et Noir Serpent Marble Fountain pen is inspired y one of the first fountain pens made by Montblanc. The coral colored marble look reflects a signature Montblanc writing instrument from the 1920's and 1930's. Reinterpreting the legendary writing instrument, it features a longer, slimmer silhouette, modern piston filler technology and craftsmanship refined over generations. The serpent clip is inspired by the snake clips, which were very popular in the 1920’s, and gives a vintage appearance with matching details. The clip is made by a stamping and windng process in a special alloy metal.
